Take the Risk. →
Reading this, has been the most inspiring & reassuring thing to have happened to me all week. It’s good to know that your options in life are not limited to the (v expensive) qualifications you have obtained from uni. & that, life, works out magically. When you are stuck, get unstuck & explore. You might even surprise yourself on where you end up.
To everybody out there. No...

Resolutions.
Melbourne City, New Years Eve 2011
Frankly, I’m not a big believer in making new year resolutions. We make them, we break them (if you’re lucky, you’ll keep at them for at least the first ten days of the new year. Then you break them). Believe me, I’ve made my fair share of new year resolutions, heck, I’ve even made quarter year resolutions, mid year resolutions,...

One Day.
I’ve just finished watching One Day. I must say, it is such a beautiful story/movie. I’m now a slobbering mess, & slightly heart broken on how the story turned out. Still, it is so beautiful, hauntingly beautiful.
I’m so pleased that I bought the book a few weeks back. Am so going to start reading it tomorrow. (:

One of these days, we'll find our way.
Apollo Bay, August 2011
I really do believe that I have grown and lived this year. I can say, I am glad&thankful for what I’ve been through, what I’ve done, where I am.
And yet, I still feel as though I’m not satisfied. I always thought, I’d have it all figured out by now. I guess, life does have it’s ways of reminding me that I’m not there yet....

Change.
I must say, I’ve missed days like these. It has been a quiet one (trust me, I these kind of days hardly ever exist for me anymore).
One of the best things I love about summer is how late the sun sets. It’s 8pm, it’s still bright w a slight summer breeze making it not too hot; sitting cross-legged on my garden setting with my beautiful dog for company, I’ve come to...

Fool-Proof Jewellery Making, Attempt #1.
My first attempt in jewellery making was a total flop, despite it being fool-proof (all I needed to do was follow the instructions!). Am planning to make a quick run to the supply store tomorrow during my lunch break at work to get more supplies. For a reattempt.
Will be posting again once I’ve had another go!

Rant.
Who knew it would be so hard finding materials I need for the crafts I’m making. Well, it’s either that, or I’m just not looking hard enough (/don’t know where to look). Now, it seems as though I have to internet order the main components of my crafts. Which costs time, and money. Both of which, I do not have much of.

Holla!
I have yet to find a blog layout I’m completely satisfied with. Have to think at least fifty times if spending $49 on my favourite blog layout is really worth it.
So until then, I guess this one will do. For now.
Perks: I am now able to activate comments on my post. Hoping all my three readers will use it well. (am all for constructive criticisms & comments!) :D

I mean, business?
I often remind myself, in order to make this space work, I reckon I should be more active & use/update it more than once in 3weeks. Hm.
Also, I am thinking of revamping it, make it look like I mean business you know. Or maybe it’s just because I’m such a sucker for pretty things I need this space to look as pretty as possible. (/queen procrastinator speaking)
I have a few...

Good Morning!
Hello again, everyone (who have been patient and still continue to check this space - I really appreciate it).
Just a quick little note, to say yes, I’m still alive. And big big apologies for abandoning this space. My holidays were very good. I must admit, I needed it, real bad. I’ve been back for about a month now and have been quite busy settling in into a new (& my last)...

An Update - Of Sorts.
This is just a short update, before I go missing again (this time for quite some time).
Time has just flown by. With me being busy with spring winter cleaning, and brewing up new ideas for stuff to blog about.
I have also been working on sprucing up my room! Although it looks as though I’ll only be able to share my changes/progress & updates once I get back from my long-awaited...

Legally Crafty.
Today, I stumbled upon a blog. The mastermind who runs this blog is a genius! She is such an inspiring, and creative person (why am I speaking as though I know her, nope, I don’t know her. I’d love to know her. Seriously).
She has all these DIY ideas and tutorials that just makes me want to smack myself on my head and tell myself “why didn’t I think of that...

Paper Cutting.
I think the world should know that one of my many loves is books & paper (oh, the smell & feel of books). Although I’m not exaggerating when I say many (I really mean many many manyyy), books and paper would be one of the few at the top of that very very very long list.
So, it’s no brainer that I’d enjoy everything and anything related to them. I have so much respect for...

DIY Wall Art.
via The DIY Club
Straightforward step-by-step on how to make pretty and personalised wall art. I can just imagine these as a headboard for my bed (if only my bed didn’t already have a headboard). Or maybe just as a feature wall in my bedroom (if only I had more than four walls in my bedroom, impossible I know).
I guess I might just have to scale it down and adjust to wherever I do decide...

OMG. How gorgeous are these! And they are so simple to make!
If you are not so keen on having plain Pantone colour chips as magnets, you can also do this:

Now, these, are absolutely adorable!
I’m absolutely going to try making these as soon as I get home from my travels.

DIY Candle Holders.
via Mark Montano
A good way of reusing any old glass jars (of any size and shape!) and turning them into really pretty home decor. Really simple, all you need is some yarn and spray paint!
Might try them myself! Of course once I’ve finish some jar-food in my pantry.

TGIF!
Had quite a busy day today. And the best of times. Honestly, it’s been quite some time since I’ve had a day like this.
Kind of regretting not taking more pictures since I got to spend the day with three beautiful girls. (one after another! Imagine my luck!)
Anyways, I only got to taking pictures when the day has almost ended. Here, Sammie (who I have yet to find an awesome alias...

Green Lights.
Oh, and I would like to formally apologize to all who have typed in my previous personal blog web address and ended up here.
Let’s just say, this is one of the many (many, many, many) steps I’m taking in the launch of my new project.
If you must know, I’m keeping said previous personal blog running. Just for, old times sake. We all know how much of a hoarder, and...
