Legally Crafty.

Today, I stumbled upon a blog. The mastermind who runs this blog is a genius! She is such an inspiring, and creative person (why am I speaking as though I know her, nope, I don’t know her. I’d love to know her. Seriously).

She has all these DIY ideas and tutorials that just makes me want to smack myself on my head and tell myself “why didn’t I think of that earlier!”.

Her projects are simple, and so gorgeous!

A few of my favourite projects by her:

DIY Jewelled Sparkly Heels, via Legally Crafty

I wish I were brave enough to try this on my shoes. Maybe I’ll go to Payless Shoes and buy a really cheap pair just to spruce up! And if course, show them off!

DIY Jewelled Cluster Ring, via Legally Crafty

Now this, I’d willingly try. In every coloured “jewels” I can find. And afford. (Life of a uni student, who works as a casual, and spends too much on things she can’t afford)

And finally,

DIY Ring Organizer, via Legally Crafty

A very, very smart idea.

Good job, Legally Crafty. You’re my inspiration of the week!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Mum & I decided to head down to the city today. It was such beautiful day. (Must point out: very rare these days in Melbourne)

Cardigan by Cotton On
Top by Kookai
Necklace by Sportsgirl
High-waisted Shorts by Topshop
Tights by Target
Charm Bracelet by Tiffany & Co
Shoes by Country Road
Bag by Burberry (not pictured above)

Thought I’d put up a couple of randoms shots of my outfit. (cause it though it was cute & I was wearing the new pair of boots we had bought last week from Country Road)

And so, we went to check out the new Zara store in the city!

I apologize for the bad shot(s). The street was so busy I didn’t want to stop and take tourist-y pictures of a store, so I gracefully held up my phone while walking and discreetly took these pictures. I must say though, I doubt it worked. Am pretty sure the people next to me were laughing at my failed attempt to be “discreet”.

Anyways, the point of these pictures:
1. To show all of you the pretty Zara signs and window displays.
2. By golly gosh, look at that queue!
3. OMG we have a Zara in Melbourne!!! Finally.

How can you walk past a Zara store and not go in?! Especially since it’s new & shiny! So, Mum and I queued up. And in we went!
With all the pretty clothes in the store, I’m surprised I didn’t end up in a clothes coma. Seriously.

And.

I exited with these new babies:

Aren’t they just gorgeous!
Here’s another, with them on:

Come to think of it, I should go back into the store tomorrow, and see if they have it in a size smaller. They feel (& look) a little big.

All in all, a good day well spent.

Hope your Thursday was a good one!
